Doctor of Chiropractic

Dr. Chauhan grew up locally. He then went on to complete his Bachelor of Science degree at the University of British Columbia followed by his Doctor of Chiropractic degree at Western States Chiropractic College at UWS in Portland, Oregon. He returned to Maple Ridge in 1999 to open his current practice because he loved the area.

The focus of Dr. Chauhan`s treatment is to get you out of pain and then keep you out of pain. His philosphy is to use what works best for the patient, not the same formula for everyone who walks in the door. No two indiduals are the same and thus his treatment uses a variety of chiropractic techniques from adjustments to non-force techniques, physiotherapy modalities such as ultrasound and ifc, techniques to treat problems that are muscular in nature, and more advanced equipment such as laser, shockwave therapy and real spinal decompression. Dr. Chauhan is also proficient in the Webster Technique for correcting breetch presentions in pregnanacy.

The diversity of treatment options allows for a varied approach as well as allows Dr. Chauhan to treat back, neck and head pain as well as treat injuries to other areas of the body such as ankles, knees, hips, shoulders, elbows, hands and feet, which are sometimes not seen by other chiropractors. His office offers treatment to seniors, children, athletes, moms to be, as well as everyone in between.
